DJS FOR COMPANIES

DJ for company parties: music that brings everyone together

A company party has a programme: welcome, food, speeches and then dancing. We play the music that connects each part and keeps the dance floor going once the speeches end.

Music during dinner

Quiet music while guests eat and chat, so conversation at the tables can be heard. We only turn it up when the programme calls for it.

Uninterrupted speeches

We turn the music down or off when someone takes the microphone, then pick it up again afterwards so the room does not fall silent.

One point of contact

We agree in advance who to speak to on the day. That keeps the organising committee, kitchen and us working to the same schedule.

Music for everyone

A company rarely has just one age group. We mix things up so new starters and colleagues with thirty years of service can all find something on the dance floor.

Music bingo before the DJ

Music bingo early in the evening gets people talking across departments and makes the move to the dance floor easier afterwards.

More than a DJ booking

Our DJs can be combined with hosting, quizzes and music bingo, connecting the whole evening, including for larger groups.

Sound and lighting by arrangement

Whether we use the venue's sound system or bring our own depends on the room. We confirm this before sending your quote.

What we agree before your company party

  • Date, address and venue type
  • Approximate number of employees and guests
  • Schedule for food, speeches and dancing
  • Your contact person on the day
  • Music requests and songs to avoid from the organising committee
  • Sound, lighting and power at the venue

PLANNING

From the organising committee's first email to the last song

The more we know about the programme, the less the organising committee has to manage on the night.

The programme guides the music

We ask for your schedule: when food is served, when speeches take place and when dancing starts. We build the music around that plan instead of keeping the same volume all evening.

  • Welcome and arrival
  • Dinner and speeches
  • Transition to dancing
  • Music finish time

Coordination on the day

We speak with your appointed contact and the venue or kitchen if timings slip. Any changes are agreed with you on the day.

Choosing music for a mixed workforce

Send us colleagues' requests in advance. We use them as a guide, read the dance floor and change direction if a genre is not connecting with your group.

What affects the price

The date, location, travel, playing time and whether we bring sound and lighting. We send one complete quote that you can put straight into your party budget.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Practical details before you book

Can you play background music during dinner?

Yes. We play quietly during dinner and only turn it up when the programme calls for dancing.

How do you handle speeches?

We turn the music down or off when someone takes the microphone, then start it again afterwards. We agree in advance who gives us the signal.

Do we need to provide a sound system?

Not necessarily. We can bring a sound system or use the venue's equipment. This is agreed before you receive the quote.

Can we combine a DJ with music bingo or a quiz?

Yes. Music bingo or a quiz can come before the DJ as part of your programme. It is all booked together with us.

How long do you play?

Playing time is agreed around your programme and the venue's closing time, and is specified in the quote.

How much does a DJ for a company party cost?

It depends on the date, venue, playing time and equipment. We send a complete price once we know the details. Any changes are agreed with you.

Shall we DJ at your company party?

Send us the date, venue and a few words about the programme, and we will get back to you with a proposal.
