Music preferences, venue and schedule are the starting point. We discuss the rest together before you decide.
Music choices and requests
Tell us who is coming, which genres you like and which songs you would rather avoid. A request list gives direction while the DJ adapts the music throughout the evening. Special songs, such as a wedding waltz or a performance track, are agreed in advance.
Sound, lighting and setup
We discuss venue size, guest numbers, power and access. If the venue has its own system, we explore whether we can use it. Sound, lighting, setup and pack-down are described in the quote; there is no fixed equipment package.
Dinner, speeches and dancing
Should the music begin during dinner or when the dancing starts? We agree start and finish times, breaks and a contact person, plus coordination with any toastmaster. Please also share the venue's sound limits and closing time.
DJ pricing for your party
The date, address, travel, playing time and equipment affect the price. Send the details you have and we will quote for the agreed solution. Any extra activities are agreed separately as part of the quote.

How much does a party DJ cost?
The price is agreed in the quote and depends on factors including date, venue, playing time, travel and equipment.
Are sound and lighting included?
This is specified in your quote. We check what the venue has and which equipment needs to be brought along.
Can we request specific songs?
Yes, send your preferred genres and songs, as well as music to avoid. Special performances are agreed in advance.
How long does the DJ play?
Start and finish times, plus any breaks, are agreed in the quote based on your programme.
Can you play at weddings?
Yes, we discuss music preferences, the wedding waltz and coordination with your toastmaster. Schedule, equipment and price are agreed in the quote.
Where do you travel to?
