DJS FOR PRIVATE PARTIES

DJ for private parties: fill the dance floor at your celebration

Private party guests rarely all belong to one age group. We play music that gets both friends and family dancing, keeping the volume comfortable for conversation at the tables.

Your music requests

Send a list of songs that matter to you and those you do not want to hear. We use it as a starting point and build from there on the night.

A mix of guests

With guests aged 25 and 75 in the same room, the order matters. We start with broad appeal and raise the energy as the dance floor fills.

The venue and space

Garden parties, function rooms and private homes have different requirements. We ask about booth space, power and where the dance floor will be.

Discussing the sound

Let us know about neighbours or a music curfew. We adapt the volume instead of playing too loudly all evening.

Timing and planning

We agree when we arrive and set up, when dancing starts and when the last song plays.

Music bingo as a warm-up

If you want an activity before dancing, music bingo can be scheduled early in the evening and booked together with the DJ.

What we discuss before the party

  • Occasion, date and address
  • Approximate guest numbers and age range
  • Music requests and songs you do not want to hear
  • Space for the booth, speakers and power
  • Any music curfew
  • When the dance floor should open

PLANNING

How we plan your evening

We would rather ask a few extra questions than turn up without knowing the arrangements.

Your music, your evening

Some guests send a complete list; others name a genre and a decade. Both work. We read the dance floor and change direction if something does not connect, while always taking your requests into account.

  • Must-play songs
  • Genres and decades
  • Songs to avoid
  • A special song for the evening

The venue sets the scene

A garden party in a marquee sounds different from a brick building. We ask about space, flooring, power and booth position so everything is set up before guests arrive.

Just a DJ or the whole evening

Book a DJ for dancing or agree a combination with hosting, music bingo and other activities. We build the programme around the occasion and your guests.

What affects the price

The date, address, travel, playing time and whether we bring sound and lighting. You receive one complete quote before you agree.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Practical details before you book

Can we send a list of song requests?

Yes, and we are happy to use it. Send both the songs you want to hear and those we should avoid.

Do you play for younger and older guests?

Yes. We build the evening to offer something for everyone, raising the energy as the dance floor fills.

Do you bring sound and lighting?

We agree this based on the venue and guest numbers. We can bring equipment or use what is already available on site.

Can you play in a garden or marquee?

It depends on the setting. We discuss power, weather protection, access and sound restrictions before agreeing an outdoor setup.

How long do you play?

Playing time is agreed around your programme and any venue music curfew, and is specified in the quote.

Can we combine a DJ with music bingo?

Yes. Music bingo can take place before dancing. Content, duration, technical arrangements and any prizes are agreed in one complete quote.

Shall we play at your party?

Tell us about the occasion, guests and venue, and we will get back to you with a proposal.
